The experimental folk/electronic duo Sonotanotanpenz has been a favorite at Visitant Recordings for many years. We’re happy to present their 2018 album HE/ME on vinyl for the first time.

This release is on 12” blue sky vinyl and includes an insert. Lacquers were cut by Matthew Barnhart at Chicago Mastering Service.

HE/ME was originally released on cassette by Cudighi Records in 2018.

Artist Profile:

Sonotanotanpenz was formed in Fukuoka by Hitomi Itamura and Hitomi Moriwaki in 2012. They soon began performing frequently in and around Tokyo.

Their performances consist of vocals, guitars, and keyboards, and have begun to incorporate elements of plays.
